Step 1: Proper Cleansing (Gentle and Effective)

The basis of skin care is cleansing. Our aim is to maintain the cleanliness of the skin gained with Hydrafacial, but not to damage the skin's natural moisture barrier. Avoid harsh, sulfated cleansers that dry your skin and disrupt the pH level. Always cleanse your skin morning and evening with a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type (gel for oily skin, creamy or milky for dry skin).

Step 2: Therapeutic Serums (Active Ingredients)

After Hydrafacial, your skin is most receptive to absorbing serums. At this stage, you should use the active ingredients recommended by your physician for your skin goals:

Vitamin C (in the morning): Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, protects the skin against free radicals throughout the day, brightens the complexion and supports collagen production.
Hyaluronic Acid (Morning/Evening): Ideal for maintaining the moisture effect of Hydrafacial. It draws intense moisture to the skin and provides a plump appearance.

Things to Never Do at Home: Mistakes That Undermine the Effect of a Hydrafacial

Excessive Exfoliation: Hydrafacial has already given your skin an effective exfoliation. Going home and doing additional harsh physical (granular) or chemical (high levels of acid) peels breaks down the skin's protective barrier, leading to hypersensitivity and redness.
Skipping Sunscreen: It bears repeating that this means throwing away all the investment.
Drying the Skin The biggest mistake people with oily skin make is drying the skin. Drying the skin to remove oil causes the skin to produce more oil (rebound effect).
