Dermal Fillers

Combine the Golden Ratio of Your Face with Art
The decrease in the amount of collagen and hyaluronic acid in our skin over time causes facial volume loss, a tired expression and static wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler applications are one of the most effective methods of modern aesthetics that restore these losses without surgical intervention, shape facial contours and give the skin back the moisture and vitality it has lost.

With age, the face loses volume; the cheekbones lose their definition, lines deepen, and facial features become softer. Dermal fillers are an injection-based treatment designed to restore this lost volume and balance facial contours.

Dermal fillers, is a medical aesthetic procedure in which gel-based substances—most commonly containing hyaluronic acid—are injected into areas experiencing volume loss or where more defined contours are desired.

About the App

What Is a Dermal Filler, and How Does It Work?

Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that occurs naturally in the skin and has a high water-retention capacity. Dermal fillers contain the cross-linked gel form of this molecule; they provide both volume and hydration to the treated area.

Products with different consistencies are chosen depending on the treatment area: softer fillers are used in areas that move, such as the lips, while thicker fillers are used in areas that require structural support, such as the jawline. The choice of product and the amount used are determined during the consultation based on the patient’s facial anatomy.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are not permanent; they are naturally broken down by the body over time. The fact that they can be dissolved using the hyaluronidase enzyme when necessary is a significant safety advantage of this product group.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Dermal Fillers

Is a filling procedure painful?

A topical anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure; most filler products also contain lidocaine. As a result, the procedure is completed with only a mild sensation of pressure for most people.

Do fillers look natural?

A natural look depends on the choice of product, the amount used, and the application technique. Fillers administered in amounts tailored to facial proportions and applied only as needed do not create an exaggerated appearance. If necessary, the amount can be gradually increased during a subsequent session.

Is the filler permanent, or can it be removed?

Hyaluronic acid fillers are not permanent; they are broken down by the body over time. If an undesirable result occurs, they can be dissolved using the hyaluronidase enzyme.

What should you keep in mind after getting fillers?

It is recommended to avoid bending forward and lying down for the first 4–6 hours, alcohol and strenuous exercise for the first 24–48 hours, and hot environments such as saunas and Turkish baths for the first week. Do not massage the treatment area, especially during the first 2 weeks.

Will there be swelling after lip fillers?

Since the lips are a highly mobile and highly vascularized area, mild swelling and, rarely, bruising may occur in the first few days; this usually subsides within a few days. The final results become apparent within 1–2 weeks.

What is the difference between fillers and Botox?

Fillers restore volume to areas that have lost it; Botox It works by limiting muscle movement, thereby reducing expression lines. The two treatments address different issues and can be planned together as needed.
