It results from the irregular accumulation of melanin—the pigment that gives the skin its color—in the skin. UV rays from the sun, hormonal fluctuations, past inflammatory conditions, aging, genetic predisposition, and certain medications can trigger this irregular production.
Any inflammation that occurs on the skin—such as acne, eczema, a wound, a burn, or a bug bite—may leave a dark spot behind after it heals. This is related to the skin producing excess melanin during the healing process.
Some people may experience this. Medications such as tetracyclines and antidepressants can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun, triggering the formation of dark spots. Certain chemicals in perfumes or cosmetics can also cause photosensitivity-related dark spots when exposed to the sun.
Special formulations containing ingredients that inhibit melanin production and promote skin renewal are injected directly into the middle layer of the skin using very fine needles. This activates the skin’s natural renewal mechanisms and supports healing at the cellular level.
Because the active ingredients reach the targeted skin layer directly, they provide faster and more effective results compared to products taken systemically.
