You can have this procedure done at Dr. Melis Ülger’s office in Kadıköy Caddebostan.
Treatment is tailored to the individual. For IV glutathione, an initial course of 6 to 12 sessions is typically administered once or twice a week. For oral and liposomal forms, regular use is recommended at a frequency determined by the doctor, usually for several months.
Maintenance sessions are recommended to maintain the achieved level. For IV administration, less frequent intervals—such as once a month or once every two months—are preferred; for oral formulations, continuous or periodic use is sustainable. The plan is tailored to the individual’s lifestyle and toxin exposure.
Glutathione administered intravenously has the highest bioavailability because it does not pass through the digestive system. In traditional oral forms, stomach acid and digestive enzymes can break down the molecule; the liposomal form, however, protects glutathione from these effects, ensuring optimal absorption when taken orally.
By directly combating free radicals, it protects cells from oxidative stress and helps replenish other antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E. It binds to heavy metals and environmental toxins in the liver’s Phase II detoxification pathway, facilitating their elimination; it is also essential for the proliferation of immune cells.
The body's natural production capacity decreases with age. Poor nutrition, chronic stress, lack of sleep, smoking, alcohol, exposure to environmental toxins, infections, and certain chronic diseases can also cause these reserves to deplete rapidly.
People who experience constant fatigue and low energy, those who frequently suffer from infections, those exposed to air pollution or occupational chemicals, and those with fatty liver disease or elevated liver enzymes. It can also be used as a supportive treatment under a doctor’s supervision for certain chronic conditions.
